Day Flipping

Privacy & ads

The short version: no accounts and no user database. Your data stays in your browser. Cloudflare counts page views without cookies. The header can carry up to two Google ads, which supporters don’t see.

What is stored about you

Nothing, on our side. There is no user database, because there are no users — there is no sign-up, no login and no profile.

The things that look like an account are kept by your own browser, in its local storage, on your own machine:

None of it is sent to us. Clearing your browser's site data for this domain deletes all of it permanently, and we cannot recover it, because we never had it.

What the server sees

The site is served by Cloudflare Pages. Serving a page necessarily involves your IP address and your browser's user agent reaching Cloudflare, and Cloudflare's own logging applies. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views; it sets no cookies and does not build a profile of you. We do not read any of this to build a picture of individuals.

Market data is fetched through a relay on this domain, which forwards requests to Jagex's Grand Exchange data and the Old School RuneScape wiki's price API. The relay passes on no information about who asked. It caches the upstream response and hands the same bytes to everyone.

Advertising

The header has room for up to two advertisements, served by Google AdSense.

Serving them means Google receives your IP address and may read or write cookies in your browser. That is how ad serving works and we cannot make it not be true; what we can do is limit it, so:

If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, a separate Google consent dialog will ask about ad personalisation before any personalised ad is served. Google's own description of how it uses data in advertising is at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Children

This site is a market tool for a video game and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone — that is not a policy so much as a description of the architecture.

Changes

If any of the above stops being true, this page changes before the behaviour does. It was last revised on 21 September 2026.
